Leadership: Rep. Adler has a reputation for being "hardworking, incisive, and respected by both parties," during his six terms as state Senator. His success is driven by his determination to ensure that all Americans have the opportunity to pursue their individual American dreams, get a good education, and reap the rewards of hard work. Adler served on the State Environment committee and has consistently fought against off shore drilling and spoken out against an offshore liquid natural gas facility noting the potential for “environmental nightmare.”
Rep. Adler cosponsored H.R. 3650 (Harmful Algal Bloom and Hypoxia Research and Control Amendments Act of 2009), H.R. 5214 (Big Oil Bailout Prevention Act of 2010) and supported H.R. 2454 (American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009).
