Leadership: As the Chair of the subcommittee that has jurisdiction over most ocean issues, Rep. Bordallo understands the importance of strong ocean education, research, and conservation legislation. This is why she has authored or supported many bills designed to strengthen marine life protection and explore the oceans. Rep. Bordallo commended President Obama for establishing an Interagency Ocean Policy Task Force and supports a National Ocean Policy.
